  • Description: Due to a dockworkers’ strike, a merchant ship is stranded outside an Arabic harbor. After the strange death of the captain, Mr. Nikolas, lieutenant Nafpliotis assumes command of the ship. His heavy-handed tyranny, however, as well as the extreme situations that result from his behavior, drive the sailors to mutiny and court proceedings where they try him for his despotic conduct.
